About Us

Our Mission

HealthBridge4u, LLC is committed to providing comprehensive training for Community Health Workers (CHWs). We believe that CHWs play a crucial role in improving community health by serving as trusted liaisons between healthcare providers and the communities they serve. Our goal is to equip CHWs with the knowledge and skills they need to address the most pressing health issues of our time, including heart disease, stroke, mental health, and diabetes.

Founder:

Mercedes Cruz-Ruiz

Mercedes Cruz-Ruiz, a survivor and a passionate advocate for health education, founded HealthBridge4u, LLC. As a CHW and an ambassador for the American Heart Association since 2005, Mercedes has dedicated her life to raising awareness about health issues and training others to do the same. She is also the co-founder of the Vestido Rojo Hispanic Movement, which is celebrated worldwide for its impact on women's health.

CHW Training and Certification

Continuing Education Units (CEU):

We offer a variety of courses that provide CEUs for CHWs looking to maintain their certification and stay updated with the latest health information.

New CHW Certification:

Our comprehensive certification program prepares individuals to become certified CHWs, equipping them with the necessary skills to serve their communities effectively.
